☀️ July 18: Kanto-Koshin Region Officially Enters Summer ☀️

Today, July 18, the Japan Meteorological Agency announced that the rainy season is considered to have ended in the Kanto-Koshin region.
— This is one day earlier than the average (around July 19) and the same as last year (around July 18).

The rainy season began around June 10 and, after a gradual transition, was officially declared over today.
From July 18 onward, the Pacific High is expected to dominate, bringing clear summer skies!

The full-scale summer season has begun!
Be sure to stay hydrated and replenish salts frequently.

Air conditioning is now in full operation at stations and onboard trains. During rush hours, trains may become crowded, and the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors can be extreme—please take care.

This summer is expected to remain hot in the coming days.
For a comfortable train ride, we recommend wearing breathable clothes, using hats or sunshades, and carrying plenty of water.
