We are pleased to announce the release of our new service, “Ima-Tetsu.”

“Ima-Tetsu” is a website that provides real-time weather information—“Ima no Sora” (the current sky)—for railway lines and stations within Tokyo.

Using a large volume of observational data and spatial interpolation technology, the service estimates current weather conditions. Unlike forecasts, it tells you what the sky is like right now, helping support your daily life.

Note: Currently, the service is limited to stations within Tokyo.

Main Features:

• View real-time weather information by station and railway line.

• A unique character, “Signyaru,” visually expresses the comfort level at each station.

• Favorite Station Registration: Add your home, school, or workplace station to favorites and quickly access current weather information from the top page.

• Check weather data for all of Tokyo via the “Sora MAP,” a visualization map of spatially interpolated values—viewable up to 2 hours in the past.

We will continue to enhance our features to make your railway-related activities even more enjoyable.
